about mobility management
Mobility management is an approach to designing and delivering transportation services that starts and ends with the customer. It begins with a community vision in which the entire transportation network—public transit, private operators, cycling and walking, volunteer drivers, and others—works together with customers, planners, and stakeholders to deliver the transportation options that best meet the community's needs. systemic mobility solutions
We are here to improve coordination of existing transportation resources and collect data on service gaps and overlaps. We are developing a network of partners who have 5310 program vehicles that can help fill ride requests for rides falling into gaps, and collect data on the number of people who need to get to and from where. Community input has been and continues to be gathered through the Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan process. Our role is both education and outreach around existing services, and coordination of a response to transportation needs with no good solution in place currently.
